Journalism and writing, like two sides of a coin are two words that goes hand in hand, it is the aggregation,writing,presention of news or new articles for whisperead distribution typically in periodic print and publications to broadcast news for the purpose of informing the society or nation.

In our today's society,it is wonderful why people perceives the profession of a journalist as a total wastes of time,failing to discover its plenty benefits.

In our campuses today, students don't like to believe that extra curricula activities open ways for many opportunity and contribute to their lives more than they does to it,they conclude it only attract distractions to their main objective. People these days don't always appreciate your degree alone, they request for something creative that a person has acquired or learnt.

As a journalist on campus, being able to write and speak is of utmost importance, so as to be able to stand as the voice of the voiceless,those with mouth but without tongue.The existence of journalists in a country prevents danger,journalist investigate, prove, and report issues that most times provide solution to problems, put happiness in the lives of frustrated people, terminates people's misery, uncovers the dirty jobs of criminals, discovers injustice as well as prevent death.

Most times when we are offended,harassed or challenged, the best way to reveal it is to put it into writing.many people today have written captivating news stories that have helped the society  hugely,because journalists are change makers not noise makers.

Journalist work with the government in order to battle with issues of human trafficking, sexual harassment, child/ drug abuse etc.

Therefore, with our we make impact, as we create awareness of everyday's happenings and transform the society.

Education has helped the field of journalism to grow extensively,it has made it possible for people to understand the relevance of writing and dissemination of news just as technology has helodiin the advancement of journalism.Before now, the town crier carries information around,going around the village, house to house to pass information orally,a particular rhythm from a beaten drum signify a certain happening, which sends information to people as well in those days but today, with the help of social media everything has been easy and has been the most reliable source of news.

In a country where nobody can read and write and the flow of news is limited so would be the productivity of such country.

Journalism and writing could be date back to many century ago,even in the life of the prophets,the work that f journalism existed, since the prophets conveyed information from the Lord to the people. Therefore, journalism has been a very important aspect of human existence.
